Menyalurkan Wang Hasil Pelbagai Denda Mahkamah-Mahkamah Syariah Ke Baitulmal Negeri-Negeri Di Malaysia

Muzakarah Jawatankuasa Fatwa Majlis Kebangsaan Bagi Hal Ehwal Ugama Islam Malaysia Kali Ke-49 yang bersidang pada 19 September 2000 telah membincangkan isu Menyalurkan Wang Hasil Pelbagai Denda Mahkamah-Mahkamah Syariah Ke Baitulmal Negeri-Negeri Di Malaysia. Muzakarah telah memutuskan bahawa denda Mahkamah-Mahkamah Syariah tidak boleh dimasukkan ke Baitulmal Negeri-Negeri. Sebaliknya ia menjadi hasil kerajaan negeri berkenaan.

Transferring the Revenue from Miscellaneous Fines Imposed by the Syariah Courts to the States’ Baitulmal (Public Treasury for Muslims) in Malaysia

Decision:

The 49thMuzakarah (Conference) of the Fatwa Committee of the National Council for Islamic Religious Affairs Malaysia held on 19thSeptember 2000 has discussed the issue of the Transferring of the Revenue from Miscellaneous Fines Imposed by the Syariah Courts to the States’ Baitulmal (Public Treasury for Muslims) in Malaysia. The Conference decided that revenue from fines issued by the Syariah Courts is not allowed to be transferred to the States’ Baitulmal. On the contrary, the revenue belongs to the respective State Governments.
