-
Mimpi orang Islam selepas wafat Rasulullah S.A.W. maka ia akan berjumpa di akhirat nanti dan akan mendapat syafaat Rasulullah S.A.W.
-

Keputusan (English):
Dreams from the Islamic Perspective
Decision:
The 36th Muzakarah (Conference) of the Fatwa Committee of the National Council for Islamic Religious Affairs Malaysia held on 15th December 1994 has discussed dreams from the Islamic perspective. The Conference decided that:
1. The dream of a prophet is considered as a revelation from God that is accepted as true and legally binding.
2. The dreams of people during the lifetime of Rasulullah S.A.W. such as seeing the Prophet in their sleep is similar to that of seeing the Rasulullah S.A.W. while awake and it is exclusive to the time of the Prophet only.
3. A Muslim who dreams of Rasulullah S.A.W. after the Prophet’s demise will meet him in the Hereafter and will obtain the intercession (syafa‘ah) of Rasulullah SAW.
4. The dream of a Muslim is of three levels. Firstly, it is the whispering of the soul. Secondly, it is the temptation of the devil. Thirdly, it is glad tidings from Allah SWT. The dream of a non-Muslim is rejected.
5. The dream of a layman cannot be used as a basis for a religious ruling nor as a tiding or fact.
