Pindaan Kaedah Penetapan Hari Raya Aidil Adha Di Malaysia

Keputusan: 

Muzakarah Jawatankuasa Fatwa Majlis Kebangsaan Bagi Hal Ehwal Ugama Islam Malaysia Kali Ke-30 yang bersidang pada 22 Aug 1992 telah membincangkan Pindaan Kaedah Penetapan Hari Raya Aidil Adha Di Malaysia. Muzakarah telah memutuskan bahawa kaedah penetapan Aidil Adha di Malaysia yang berdasarkan tarikh hari wukuf di Arafah dipinda kepada kaedah rukyah anak bulan Zulhijah kerana kaedah rukyah anak bulan Zulhijjah lebih sesuai diamalkan di negara ini.

Amendment on the Method of Determining the Date of Id al-Adha in Malaysia

Decision:

The 30th Muzakarah (Conference) of the Fatwa Committee of the National Council for Islamic Religious Affairs Malaysia held on 22nd August 1992 has discussed the Amendment on the Method of Determining the Date of Id al-Adha in Malaysia. The Conference decided that the method of determining the date of Id al-Adha in Malaysia based on the date of Wuquf in Arafah is amended to the method of sighting (rukyah) the crescent of the month of Zulhijjah as it is more suitable to be practiced in this country.
